AMG 63 BiTurbo (M157)

The direct injected and twin turbocharged 5.5 liter M157 V8 AMG engine is a technological masterpiece, producing 544 HP and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. While this may be enough enough power to satisfy most drivers, it may not satisfy ALL drivers.

Our insatiable hunger for more power has led us to investigate the software in the engine management system. Kleemann has found a massive amount of additional power and torque (regardless of chassis and Performance Pack) waiting to be unleashed. A Kleemann ECU tune will give you up to 680 HP and 950 Nm (700 lb-ft) of torque to utilize as you see fit.

In addition to the ECU upgrade, we also offer several bolt-on parts. Power outputs of up to 849 HP and 1361 Nm (1004 lb-ft), as well as an even more sinister exhaust note, are available.

63-K1:ECU tuning. Up to 690 HP and 950 Nm (704 lb-ft) of torque.

63-K2: K1 + stainless steel downpipes (with or with out HJS sport catalysts). Up to 705 HP and +1000 Nm ( +741 lb-ft) of torque.

63-K3: K2 + stainless steel bridge pipes which remove the factory’s very restrictive pipes all the way from the turbo’s to the mid-silencer. System includes HJS race cats. Up to 760 HP and 1150 Nm ( 848 lb-ft).

63-K4: K3 + a set of Kleemann modified turbochargers. Compressor turbines are larger to increase air volume in higher revs. Exhaust turbines are larger with larger diameter shafts to reduce exhaust back pressure and improve durability. Countless hours of testing has lead us to this design. Back pressure has been reduced by 2 bars ( 29 PSI ) between the turbo’s and the cylinder head. Power delivery is smooth and strong all the way to the rev cut, unlike the factory turbos, which are out of breath far too soon. Up to 849 HP and 1361 Nm (1004 lb-ft).

NOTE: K1 available for all, K2 G,E/CLS RWD, K3 E/CLS, S/CL, E/CLS 4 MATIC, S/CL 4 MATIC, G-Class. K4 all, with or without K3.
